A GREAT GIFT FOR AN ELVIS FAN!
A COLLECTOR'S ITEM
LIMITED EDITION OF FIFTY PRINTS - READY TO FRAME
Unseen Elvis Presley Photographs from June 16, 1956!
All artwork ©1956-2010 Chuck Staley and should not be found elsewhere.
While working at WHBQ Television in Memphis in 1956 I first met Elvis Presley on the Wink Martindale Dance Party.
On June 16th I took these pictures of Wink, Elvis, co-host Suzie Bancroft and my friend WHBQ Disk Jockey Dewey Phillips,
who first played Elvis records on the radio.
Only recently did I create this collage. Before that, the only people to own the pictures were Elvis -- I gave him copies
when I worked on "Jail House Rock" -- and Wink, when he and I were both working at Television City.
1956 was the year Elvis recorded: "Heartbreak Hotel," "I Was the One," "Blue Suede Shoes," "I Want You, I Need You,
I Love You," "Hound Dog," "My Baby Left Me," "Anyway You Want Me," "Love Me Tender,"
"Don't Be Cruel," "Love Me," and "When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold."
And all were certified gold!
This Giclée collage is printed one at a time on 8½ by 11 inch archival art paper. It is ready to frame,
and will last you a lifetime without fading, just like the other artwork I create. It is a rare edition,
with only 50 to be printed. When all are sold, the original negative goes back in the vault for another 50 years.
Should you want it larger, I also offer the collage on 11 by 14 inch archival fine art paper.

With each purchase of the Elvis collage you will receive, at no extra charge, a Certificate of Authenticity.

This certificate gives you a guaranty of quality standards and it adds fine art value.
The 8½ by 11 inch Elvis Collage is $39 plus $6.95 shipping via 1st Class Mail to US addresses.
The 11 by 14 inch Collage is $69 plus $9.95 Priority Shipping and includes a mailing tube and insurance.

The day I met Elvis Presley at WHBQ Television

Elvis feeds my wife Joan Staley a piece of cake at Sam Phillips' house in Memphis.

Elvis and Joan sit poolside at Sam's house on Easter Morning, 1957.

Joan Staley sang backup for many famous Sun performers and wrote some of the lyrics for this recording by Dickey Lee.

In 1964 Joan played Marge in "Roustabout."
The last time I talked to Elvis was in 1969, when he was working on "Charro."
This art piece is a tribute to Elvis and limited editions may be purchased.

"Charro" Impressionist Art by Chuck Staley
I have 16mm movies of Elvis at Sam Phillips' house on Easter Sunday morning, 1957, and Dewey Phillips at radio station WHBQ.
About 60 seconds of the footage was used in the movie "This is Elvis." The rest has never been
seen by anyone but Elvis, Joan, Dewey and several other friends one night when young Elvis invited us to Graceland to see his new home.
Send me an email or call 310.822.7702 in the US if you are interested in purchasing the footage.
